What is Silent Hope?

Silent Hope is a 501(c)(3) community outreach program that strengthens family bonds by overcoming communication barriers through sign language education, resources, and support.

Who do we serve?

Families with Deaf/Hard of Hearing (D/HH) children, their hearing siblings, children of Deaf adults (CODAs), and families facing communication barriers—plus community partners who want to make spaces more accessible.

Where are we based?

Central Florida (Orlando area). Many activities and our summer camp take place in Orlando.

Free conversational ASL classes, support groups for parents, community education on Deaf culture and communication access, church and community workshops, and one-on-one family support.

Are our ASL classes really free?

Yes—Silent Hope offers free conversational ASL classes to the community (at rotating community locations).

At community venues such as recreation centers, local churches, and partner sites. Check our site and social updates for current locations.

Do you provide interpreting or church support?

Yes—Silent Hope partners with local ministries and agencies to support Deaf attendees and provide education for staff/chaplains.

Are donations tax-deductible?

Yes. Silent Hope is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

How do I donate or become a sponsor?

Give via the PayPal link on the Contact page or explore sponsorship levels (partial or full camper sponsorship, general support, or in-kind gifts like snacks, drinks, and supplies).

Do you accept in-kind donations?

Yes—examples include snacks, drinks, equipment, camp supplies, drawstring bags, and water bottles for campers.
