This is a bit of a repost from my Linkin Park site, but I felt the artwork featured in this show was so impressive that it warranted a mention here. Being an artist myself (something I admittedly haven’t been doing much of lately), I have nothing but respect for Mike’s works and I wish I could fly out to Los Angeles to see it. Hmm…anybody wanna donate airfare? ;).
For those of you who are unaware; or do not know me through my website www.lpassociation.com, I run a Linkin Park fansite called The Linkin Park Association of which I’ve been running for close to seven years. Earlier on in the week we got the awesome opportunity to have a Q&A with lead vocalist Chester Bennington, after which we submitted a question to Mike Shinoda (emcee of the band) to get answered at his art show: Glorious Excess (dies). Above is what Mike Shinoda had to say about my site and it’s staff.
Pretty amazing moment. I’ve spent a lot of my life following this band (seven years of it), and to be noticed by the very guys I have a website made for…well that’s just the icing on the cake. Thanks Mike!
Well..Silent Hope is now going on two weeks of being re-opened, and with this it is time to ask the visitors what they want to see. What type of content should I post? What sort of topics would you like me to discuss in the main blog section? Should the blog be like an actual […]
All I can say is wow. I never saw this coming. After coming home from the NHRA Toyo Tires Event at Maple Grove Raceway in Maple Grove, PA yesterday to take a break from the heat, I plopped down in my chair and watched the Phillies game on my big screen TV. Just when I thought the Mets might tie it up and bring us into the 10th Inning, Bruntlett then committed the rarest of the rare: A game ending triple play that has only been done once before in Major League Baseball history. Sweeet.
This is why I love my Phillies. Just when I’m ready to curse or throw a projectile at the TV over the Phillies committing a foolish error, they win me back with an amazing play like this. Great job guys, and mostly..great job Bruntlett!
