Ah yes, here’s a start of something new on Silent Hope. Every Friday I will be posting my choice of a “Weekend Movie” which is a movie I think you should rent over the weekend and check out for yourself if you haven’t already. These are in my opinion MUST SEE movies and every Friday I will be posting a new movie, so be sure to keep checking it out.

For my first pick I am going to choose the 1999 Mike Judge classic “Office Space”. Anybody who has ever worked an office job in their lifetime will be able to attest just how accurate Mike Judge got it when he made this movie. Annoying secretaries? Check. Printers that constantly jam? You got it. Creepy loner at the office that everyone thinks will burn the place down? You betcha. This movie has every realistic office stereotype there is, and let’s face it: What office dwelling monkey HASN’T felt the very things that Peter, Michael and Samir feel during this movie? It’s brilliant.

For absolutely nailing office life to the tee, and making a movie that I can laugh at after a long day at work..I salute Mike Judge and pick his classic “Office Space” as Silent Hope’s first Weekend Movie Special.

Now what are you waiting for? If for some incredible reason you haven’t seen this, go out and rent it. You won’t regret it.
