I think I’m going to vomit. I was sick when I learned that this family had SEVENTEEN kids, and now I read this morning on Google News that they’re going to be expecting their 19th kid…bringing the total amount of people in their immediate family (with Mr. and Mrs. Duggar) to 21. This is outrageous, irresponsible, and selfish because there are people out there who cant have children, and they’re on their 19th. What the hell is wrong with America that we can villify Nadya Suleman or Jon and Kate Gosselin but we can’t say anything to these people? Really.

I’m sure they’re great people and fun to be around but let’s get serious for a moment. No matter how great a parent they may be to their children; there is no way anybody can properly raise that many kids on their own, and any child expert will tell you this. In the end; those kids will not receive the right amount of attention and nurturing they deserve, and some of them might even grow up with severe psychological issues because of it. It’s a tragedy; and I hope the Duggars have the common sense to call it quits at #19.

However; that’s not going to happen because they’re Mormon…and many Mormon’s don’t believe in birth control, so look for “35 Kids And Counting” in about 10 years or so.
